Michelle and Dave decided on a private, small ceremony. The only people in attendance were myself and the officiant. For their ceremony they chose an area just outside of Las Vegas, near Red Rock Canyon, which is known for beautiful scenery, hiking and rock climbing. 

 

As a demonstration for their commitment to one another, they quite literally "tied the knot" as they incorporated the rock climbing themes of trust and companionship into their ceremony. Dave climbed to the top of the chosen rock wall, and connected to one another by rope, Michelle climbed up to meet Dave. Their ceremony was performed at the top of this wall, following their climb. What a unique way to get married!
